[edit] I can not see my site through IP!
I try accessing the site as http://123.123.123.123/~abk/ And see only white page.
The key works with the domain name only. In this case you need to wait till the domain name is propagated.
[edit] When I install the script, I can not unpack the DB, on one of the steps the script hangs and does not do anything.
First of all you need to wait not less than 3 minutes on every step. Secondly if the script really stops working, it means, that your hosting has a limitation on time of running of PHP scripts, and the DB is not unpacked within this time.
You should find out if your hoster have some methods of unpacking huge databases (more than 150 MB) from gz (SQL). Maybe you got some instruments in you CP. If the hosting does not have such methods, you need to ask him to unpack our dumps in your DB. You need to unpack all the files with .sql.gz from !install/backup/.
[edit] The script only shows a white page with the name of the domain (www.your-site.com)
This means that you have entered a wrong license key. License key for AbleDating 2.0 and higher consists of 216 (or 64 in newer versions) symbols and looks like:

[edit] Installation says I need to set cron jobs! How?!
You need to set it either in the control panel, or ask your hosters how to do it. It is set up by hosters usually if there is no such thing in the CP. But anyhow you may have to ask them about the syntax of the command.

In this case your server configuration seems to be a dufferent one from what is usually sold. Please send an email to info@abk-soft.com, and make as many screenshots of the problems you can. We will help you within 24 hrs.

You need to go to www.ioncube.com/loaders.php and choose a loader for your server configuration and upload it to /ioncube folder. Seems you have entered wrong data while installing. If it does not help please ask your hoster to enable dl() or install IonCube as a PHP extention. You should have uploaded the files in BINARY mode. It is important.

The script demands Zend Optimizer 2.1 or higher installed on the server. Please ask the hosters to do this. About this requirement you can read on our site in FAQ section. [edit] I have Zend Optimizer 3+ and it writes there is no Zend?
the problem is caused by the php.ini file in the script's upload directory. If the file is there then the Zend Manager and Optimizer will not load. With it deleted (or renamed) it works perfectly. It makes no difference what is contained in the file.
We believe that this may only occur with Zend extensions later than version 3.0.

Please do the following:
In Admin CP in Payment systems (http://www.your-site.com/admin/pay.php) set checkbox Active in PayPal, near “Bussines” enter your PayPal email, near Currency code enter the currency. Main here are USD, EUR, the codes of other currencies are available in PayPal help.
In your PayPal account go to Profile, there go to Instant Payment Notification Prefences. There you set Instant Payment Notification to On and enter Instant Payment Notification URL http://www.your-site.com/_pay/paypal/after.php. After this press SAVE. After this click Back to Profile Summary and go to Website Payment Preferences. There you set Auto Return to On and Return URL to http://www.your-site.com/_pay/paypal/after.php Press SAVE.

Well if you know 3DS Max, you can draw them and send to us and we will insert them into it for you. You should just keep the line of separation where it is now, the table, the border of the swimming-pool. That is very important.

Well we do not have the sources now of the Flash files, the company that develops them does not provide them anymore. So these modules remain unchanged.

Just go to the templates in admin cp, and edit them. You can choose a place for the ads and paste the code provided by Google there.

Please go to the admin cp Users -> Fields Table -> Orientation, there you can set everything you need.
[edit] How do I update the software?
- Please leave a ticket with subject DOWNLOAD UPDATE in your member’s area
- Make a dump of your database, using phpmyadmin, not structure of the tables, just the data.
- Take languages that you have edited from _lang/main/ or _lang/admin/. Do not take default language, because in the new version it has changes. If you edited DEFAULT language, please rename it and later choose it in admin. Save languages somewhere on disc.
- Take the templates that you have edited. If you edited one of our templates, please rename the folder with it, and after installation you will choose it in admin cp. If you had unique design, it is all ok for you. Save them somewhere.
- Install over.
- Unpack your dump (step 2) after the install and upload your old langs and templates.
- Set your languages and templates in admin, if needed.
- If something is missing in your language, go to _lang/main/default/language.php, take what you need and put into _lang/main/YOURLANGUAGE/language.php
- If your templates are unique or have been edited. And you need new features. You go to one of our templates, look what is missing. Maybe a file will be missing like videochat.html or some title or link (like invitation link to video chat).

In editing of the language you can see option ADD, there are 2 columns: 1) you need to write here what is by default 2) translated phrase. For example: religion – религия. This should be made not for a definite page but for the tab ALL.

You got the file: include\config\license with the key of the first domain. You can ask us for the keys of other domains and create files

With the keys. So the site will be one, and 10 domains that point to it.
[edit] How do I make Short URL to member profiles?
AbleDating includes a .htaccess with among a couple of other things , includes a rewrite rule for short URL access to member profiles. Ie : http://www.yourabdsite.com/users/username The provided rule didn't work for a start, there was an extra '/' in it. This is what should be used:

[edit] How do i make the entire System FREE?
In the Admin control panel. Options – Site Options - Please uncheck all options in menu "Payments -> Payment Plans" -> "Access to areas" This will make the site totally free to all members. another way to do this is to go to the admin -> user-> table feilds-> oriantation-> free access click yes to all those you want to enter for free thats how i did it

Yes, you can edit it in the database using PHPMyAdmin, tables geo_*

Your hosting does not have the GD extension for PHP, you need to install it. You can find out more here: http://www.php.net/manual/en/ref.image.php But usually this is installed by default. [edit] I get errors uploading images/video/audio. Seems they are too big.
Please ask hosters where to set upload_max_filesize 30M and post_max_size 30M. If in .htaccess then you will need to add to this file (it is in the root) lines:
php_value upload_max_filesize 30M php_value post_max_size 30M
If there is a if there is php.ini that can be edited then you need to add
register_globals = Off upload_max_filesize=30M post_max_size=30M

These things are pair ones, so you can see them only when you are in a user’s profile, and the user is now online.

For Top5 to show users you need to have the following: - at least 5 users of the gender that interests you - their photos should be approved in admin cp - somebody should have voted for all of them on the Vote page.

Please go to admin, in languages, there is a link Supply other langs. Click it and all languages will be checked, if they correspond to the default language or not. If not, the missing parts are added to the languages from the default one. So you will be able to translate them.

Yes, you can sell the site, because it is your property. If you wanted to sell the software, the script as a separate product, it is prohibited by our license agreement.

Designing takes 7-14 days, after approval we will have to cut it and apply to more than 200 php files, which can also take a while.

We can help you with this, just send the DB dump. It will cost 300 USD, it is a one-time fee. We will compare fields and make a migration.
